The Hardin County Housing Report for July is out.  Take note, prices are still going up.  At the same time inventory is going up.  The August report will be out soon.  It will be interesting to see how much change there is in supply.  

The SETX housing market is going through a transition.  We are seeing more inventory, homes for sale, come on the market which is a good thing.  When the economists talk about a balanced real estate market, they refer to a six month supply of homes for sale.  We haven't seen that in over a year!  

With a three month supply, the Lumberton housing market is still tipped in the sellers favor but not as much as it was six months ago.

It will be interesting to see what the August housing report shows.
